My name is Nancy Uyemura.

For the last 30 years I have lived in a 92 year old industrial building in downtown Los Angeles in the " Artists District". Today my Live-Work Loft has become very trendy. With more than 3,000 square feet of living and work space, it is a great place to live. I love my space !
As an Artist, my neighborhood reflects my creativity, talent and passion for living. It has also allowed me to create and design nurturing spaces for my clients using the Art of Placement, "Feng Shui" and the emerging science of " Neuro-Architecture". It's all about creating spaces that nurture the individual and bring more harmony to our world.
What Is Feng Shui ?
The term Feng Shui literally translates as "wind-water" in English. The science is more than 5,000 years old and comes from China. In the Chinese culture, gentle wind and smooth water have always been associated with a good harvest and good health,
The goal of Feng Shui is to create harmonious environments. When you live in harmony with your surroundings, you attract good health, great relaionships, and abundance.
Feng-shui is not a superstition or a set of dos and don'ts. It is the art and science of understanding the forces of nature in order to design houses and workplaces that blend with the environment instead of clashing with it.
It's aim is to help us live in harmony with the world by promoting the flow of positive energy and neutralizing or avoiding negative or destructive energy.

Nancy is not only an amazing artist, but a visual wizard as well. She can look at a space, and know where everything should go. When her work is completed you have a space that will warm your heart and ignite the senses. Working with Nancy was a joy and an education in what is possible.
